This is our cat, Sophie <3 We got her over a year ago and she’ll be 2 on February 17th :) She’s really cute but can be quite feisty!! She’s lying across my lap purring right now though :D

Got some ideas for what to do with my Tumblr, think I’ll take some photos of some of my favourite things and write about them etc… :) Been updating Twitter a lot more though so that’s one thing I’ve kept up at least!! :D
Randomly decided to go on Tumblr for the first time in ages!
Currently waiting for food with Darren as it’s our 4 year anniversary today! :D Although it’s been an hour and 10 mins since we ordered grr…
Was working earlier and then went to visit my grandparents, their neighbour’s two cats were rolling around on their driveway so I went out with my brother to see them, but one of them went into the house when we were distracted stroking Garfield :o I went after him but he ran up the stairs and hid underneath the bed, which was too low to get under and get him out! He looked quite cute though because he’s black so all you could see was his little eyes! After lifting the bed the second time he ran downstairs into the living room and then went out the front door and started rolling around again!
Today!
We had a lot to drink last night so woke up with a really bad hangover. The pest control guy phoned at 9 saying he’d be here at 11 so I had to force myself out of bed!
The pest control guy was shining his torch around looking for where the mice could be getting in, then he said he thought it was near the washing machine , so he put some filler stuff there. Hope it’s worked!
After that I went to check on my mum and dad’s house, the man who was fixing the roof had already started it, he was really friendly and only charged £30! :o
I came back to the flat afterwards and cooked a stir fry, then my gran phoned. Yesterday she’d told us that they’d had a phone call from an Indian guy who said he was phoning from Royal Bank of Scotland and wanted to confirm her card number and security code on her card….. She’s almost 90 and was suspicious at first but another man phoned after she said no, saying he was the supervisor…. So she gave him the details. Darren told her it sounded dodgy but she wouldn’t let us phone the bank. Anyway, today she phoned them and it had been a scam, they’d already started using her card, but she’ll get the money back. Really annoyed people can do that kind of thing, especially to old people, but at least it’s getting sorted out. My aunt’s in Germany and family are on holiday so none of them know anything about it yet…

Today!
Had quite a lot to drink last night and went to bed late last night. Just before I did go to bed Darren was playing his X Box, I looked up and saw a mouse run behind the tv!! So I ran away, and he chased it for a while, it went under a sofa but not sure what happened after that, sadly it wasn’t in any of the traps this morning :(
Got up at 1.30pm :o and had a shower, then went to Scotmid and got stuff for breakfast/lunch. I forgot about the time though so had to eat it really fast so we could leave to get to my grans!
We walked through the park which was good, then we got to my grans and my dad phoned (they’re still in Malta) so I spoke to all of my family, then a little while later we had dinner. It was chicken chasseur (casserole thing) which was nice, then we had trifle (Darren HATES custard!!) which I really liked, Darren gave me most of his! Darren was having beers and we’d opened a bottle of sweet white wine but I ended up having most of it…
After that my aunt phoned from Germany, she’s coming to visit again at the start of September :D We watched Coronation Street and then headed off when Heartbeat started!
We walked through the park back again, there were loads of ducks so we stood on the bridge and they all came towards us but Darren said it was cruel because they thought we had food :(
Last couple of days!
Yesterday wasn’t that exciting but was ok! I had to get up early to walk through the park to my grans as there was no one to take her food shopping so we got the bus to Morrisons and both got stuff then I carried all the bags and we got the bus back again! After that we had a cup of tea (I had orange juice) and I walked back again.
Then I watched tv before I went to check on my mum and dad’s, we’ve got a mountain of washing and no tumble dryer so took some of it there and watched Up In The Air while I waited, it was really good and George Clooney was looking nice….! Think the wind had knocked one of the tiles off the roof because there were bits across the front garden so text my dad and he gave me a number to call a roof guy! It was his house number though so he just said ‘hello’ when he answered the phone and I said ‘do you fix roofs’!!! He thought it was funny so it was ok :D
Today we went for coffee at Kitchener’s Delicatessen and took them to the beach. A bird kept making sounds like it was screaming!! It was raining so we didn’t stay long, then we went back to the flat quickly before we went to The Quay in Musselburgh for lunch. It was really good, I had mozzarella and tomato salad and chicken goujons! Then we went to Lidl for Darren’s whiskey and my nectar! Quickly came back in before we go to Meadowbank for more stuff for the flat!
Update!
Since my last post some mice came to visit us, which hasn’t been much fun. A pest control guy came out on Tuesday and put some poison behind the skirting boards even though they seem to be coming from the washing machine… Anyway Darren put a trap out on Tuesday night and on Wednesday morning there was a dead one… then we hoped that would be it but Darren put the trap out again last night and there was another one in it this morning… He didn’t tell me the dead mouse was still there though so had to put it in the bin earler, wasn’t nice :(
My family are on holiday too so been looking after their house. Went shopping with my friend Laura from work earlier, then we met Genevieve who works with us and Jennifer who used to be our assistant manager. We went for lunch at Chiquitos, it was quite good! I had nachos first which were nice but they had LOADS of stuff on them and the cheese tasted and looked like those really cheap cheese slices in the wrappers… then I had a cheeseburger which was nice. After that I walked Jennifer to Haymarket and got the bus back!
Off to watch Celebrity Come Dine With Me, then up early tomorrow to help my gran with her food shopping…

Today!
Had a busyish day today! Got up at 9 this morning as I was so awake after Darren left, was pretty good for me as I can usually sleep really late…
Went to the bank for Darren, then got some food shopping before going to meet my mum and brother Craig. We went to see Shrek 4 in 3D, it was sooo good!! Don’t want to spoil it but there were some really funny bits, think it was one of the bestShrek movies.
After that I got the number 4 bus to Asda which took aaaaages!! It seemed to go through chavville on the way!! Two women had music blaring out of their phones with literally 8 kids! Grr… got new pyjamas and stuff and then headed back to the flat!
Watched the pilot episode of Gossip Girl after Laura let me borrow the first season, thought it was really good but that Chuck guy seems like an idiot!
Had a late dinner after Darren got in and had a white chocolate Magnum after, Darren just stole some of the chocolate from it though :(
Update!
Just realised I haven’t wrote on this for a while!!
Since last time - me and Darren moved into our first flat, bought a HUGE tv and had our third anniversary! :o It’s been really good so far and we’re not as poor as I expected! For some reason the letting agency still hasn’t taken this month’s rent out of my account yet though….!
One more week of work before I have 2 weeks holiday!! Not sure what I’ll do yet but definitely want to see Shrek and Eclipse and go to Primark in Glasgow!
